Feb 2015 Newsletter

Greetings Rock Fans,

It’s been awhile since we’ve done an official “newsletter” but rest assured Heaviside has been hard at work.

At present we’re in the mixing stage of two new tracks, a nice little shuffle dubbed “Blues For The Modern Man” and a slinky riff driven number called “Crooked.”  One of which will make it’s debut at our performance this Friday at the Starlite Room.

As many of you are already aware we are midway through production of a new album.  Most of the record has been recorded and right now we’re prepping the final batch of songs slated to be recorded this summer.  We’re eyeing a Fall release for the third album, so there’s plenty of time to prepare for the roof raising event that will ensue.  If you just can’t wait that long be sure to check out “Smokestack Soldier” or “Aardvark” which have already been released.

As previously mentioned we’ll be making waves at the Starlite Room this Friday night with local brothers in arms Face First for their CD release party.  There are still some tickets available so get in touch with us soon if you want to snag some.  Doors are at 8:00 PM and we should be on stage around 9:30 PM.  If you can’t make it out for the gig Edmonton’s Guerrilla Radio will be broadcasting the entire show live, which can be streamed here http://guerrillaradio.ca/

If you can’t catch us live this time and aren’t able to stream the show fear not.  We are in the process of plotting shows that will take us into the Fall and are going to try and see you all before the new record comes out.
